Please
register to vote in any election (primary, general or
special). It is one inalienable right
that our creator has given to us, which many countless Patriots
have fought and died for, including some of our Founding
Fathers.
As a person
who immigrated from a country where the right to vote is largely
non-existent, I am particular sensitive to this issue which is
so important to me and to our country, in order that "the
government of the people, by the people and of the people shall
not perish from this earth.
People
unable to get to the polls because of health or handicap, and
those who will not be in the county between now and election day
may call the county clerk's office office and request
a paper absentee ballot which will be mailed to them. A parent,
child or spouse of the person may also request the ballot, which
will be mailed. The completed ballot MUST be SIGNED where
indicated and received in the clerk's office by election day.
If a person
is able to go and vote, but will be absent from the county on
election day, the person may
go to the clerk's
office until a day before election day and cast an absentee ballot. Those voters
will be required to sign an affidavit saying they will be absent
from the county on election day.
So whether
you will cast your vote by absentee ballot for medical reasons,
or because you will be absent from the county, or you will be casting your vote
in person on election day, PLEASE GO AND VOTE.

already registered to vote, please click here
